What This Is

Sigflix is a private, self-hosted media request and discovery app for a personal Plex server. It is not a public service.

Data We Store

• Plex authentication tokens (for server access)
• Media request history and preferences
• Concierge chat history is kept in your browser’s local storage on your device, not on the server

Third-Party Services

• Plex — authentication and media library access
• TMDB — movie/TV metadata and images. Concierge questions are also sent to TMDB as search terms.
• Google Gemini — writes Concierge replies and AI search picks when the admin has enabled it; otherwise Concierge replies come from a self-hosted model
• Hugging Face — matches titles for Vibe Search, the Concierge and “Picked for you”
• Radarr/Sonarr — media download management

Data Sharing

No personal data is sold. Accounts, requests and watch history stay on the self-hosted server, but the AI features send some text to the services above:

• The Concierge’s AI provider (OpenAI, xAI Grok or Google Gemini, whichever the admin picked) receives your Concierge message, the last few turns of that chat, matching library titles, and the titles of your own recently watched Plex items. AI searches on the Search page send the search text to Gemini.
• Hugging Face receives your Vibe Search or Concierge text, library titles and descriptions, and, for “Picked for you”, the titles of your own recently watched Plex items.
• Turn off “Use my Plex watch history for picks” in your Profile settings and no watch history is sent to any AI service.

Your name and Plex account details are not included. Only your own watch history is used, never other members’.
